Don't Let the Sloth Run the Marathon

We finally finished our little books about persuasion this week and enjoyed reading them to the year 1 children. The puppets that were made for Home Learning made the experience more fun. We have all learned some new persuasion tactics and have used repetition, exaggerated language and power of three. Well done to 4W for their creative story ideas and perseverance to get the booklets and puppets finished.

In Maths we are finding fractions of numbers and thank you to the children who did the crisp survey around school. This will help to inform our ECO Assembly.

Next week is a 2nd Hand uniform sale in 4W at 3.30. Proceeds go towards creating a fabulous learning environment at the pond. This sale will hopefully become a regular event so if you have unwanted uniform, please bring any clean items to the office in a bag.

Superstars this week were Sayal and Harvey. Star of the week was Amber for her kindness towards others.

In 4W we are endeavouring to keep your school shoes clean by bringing in wellies for Outdoor Learning. When the playground is particularly muddy, I may be advising your child wears these at other times due to the amount of mud that is being trampled into the classroom and ruining school shoes!
